Today, I was asked about if I had a special calling to a particular group of people. I mentioned my desire to be active in college ministry, because it was important in my own spiritual development. I must say that colleges are failing.

What can a college student do?
- find faithful friends
- find a spiritual director
- stay close to the sacraments
- do not abandon your family or your parish
- make a personal retreat
- many monasteries and convents are open to having college students visit them and pray with them, this can make a great retreat opportunity (often for free)
- pray in the tradition of the Church
- the office
- scripture reading and meditation
- appropriate devotions
- read spiritually nourishing materials
